My laptop accidently fell of my bed and hit the floor the screens gone all funny, i think its broke behind the screen as the colours are all white and blue lines. It cost 拢645 when I bought it 1.5 years ago.
Is it worth claiming on house insurance and will I have to provide proof of purchase?

if I were you I would try to claim off the house insurance, to replace a damage screen on a laptop is very expensive

Depending on the company you bought the laptop from it still might be under warranty. My laptop broke after two years, and I was able to mail it in and have it fixed for free.

Reply:When I was reading up to try to decide what to do about my 1.5 yr old laptop that's broken, I came across a number of sites about replacing laptop screens. If that's all that's wrong with it, it might be worth looking into fixing it since it isn't that old.
