you can download DEV C++ from bloodshed website. it is 100% vista compatible. i am using it. it is not dos based. download is free.
You are wrong dude...no version of c++ can support vista....bcoz vista is not dos compatitable?
You must be talking about the turbo c compiler or an old compiler.
Old compilers are 16 bit compilers this would probably not run in vista directly but might run in compatibility mode.
Use bloodshed dev c++ as an ide and any new compilers such as mingw32 or borland c 5.5((command line)) or even you can download microsoft visual c compiler (command line) for free.
