Replacing lid on a DELL Inspiron 6400?

I want to sell on my Dell Inspiron 6400 however there are ALOT of scratches on the lid (where the dell logo is when you close it).


I've bought a brand new 6400 lid and can't afford to get someone to do it for me so am taking the brave option to do it myself.


I have some knowledge but am still wondering how i'd go about it?

PS this is NOT a screen replacement just the lid surrounding the screen
