Memory stick?

i have two computers winndows vista and xp.





i put my stick in the vista one and then put a song and document on it


then put it in the xp and it was fine


then i put more stuff on and then


put it in the vista and it doesnt show any files on there








Help!!!

See if the files are hidden. set the folder to view all hidden files.

Reply:Very strange indeed! The only thing I can think of, is this incapability between XP and Vista. When you put it on XP, XP puts it's stamp on it, Vista now doesn't now recognise it.





A mate of mine has had a similar problem with this and we have been unable to solve it!
Reply:Format the Stick in XP ... choose FAT32 ..





Vista likes to do things it's own unique way .. the only way to force it to be compatible with XP is to format your stick in XP first ..





Vista understands XP, but XP does not understand Vista (%26amp; neither does anyone else)
