one partition has a virus, does it affect the other? just curious!

Yes, it can depending on the virus. Some can and some can't but just incase I would run a virus scan daily and remove any viruses on either partition.

yes, the virus will affect both the partitions.Afterall it is the same hardisk %26amp; it also depends on the virus !!
Reply:In most cases, yes, so I suggest doing a complete virus scan immediately, restarting, and scanning again
