Detect drives done no any drive found?

after a power failure due to a storm in my area, computer won't boot.it stays on the xp windows logo page forever..other times it won't even get there it just goes blank..but 1 message flashes every time for a sec it says something about "JMICRON....RAID...detect drives done no any drive found".. rebuild/add/scan/chkdsk/fixmbr/fixboot/.... the xp console did not help at all.. it says a damaged/missing file is stopping the fix.

i'm not even running raid!.i got 2 large drives in the system, one is IDE the other is SATA on a M2N SLI asus.i tried different sata cable in different slots, also unplugged ide and plugged it back and reseted the ram jumper,it made a difference, but same result, the difference was that it gave me the option to start windows in safe mode and i did,but it loaded the files then froze..in bios the drives are there!i'm thinking, could it be a power supply failure, that the drives are recognized by mobo as they're connected but got no power on them? :( please help

Hi, unfortunately I have to say you need a fresh installation. When it comes to this point the only thing that will work.Back u your stuff as an external hard drive and install windows.

I assume you already done every thing such as replacing the cable, changing the IDE or SATA and checking the BIOS and boot order.
