Inspiron1521 updated last night, when laptop was turned on the mousepad isnt working, pointer wont move at all

I went through safe mode nothing. I used the keypad and checked the mouse tab in the control panel. When I went to hardware there was nothing listed. Dell Inspiron 1521.

Reinstall the driver for touch pad, right click on my computer, properties, device manager/hardware/ and find the driver for touch pad, then reinstall it and restart your computer, if it doesn't work try to roll it back from the same place, still if it doesn't work uninstall your update or check the manufacturers website and see if there is any driver update for your touch pad.

Try restoring the system to yesterday's date. This will delete any updates or system changes, without deleting any of your personal files.

Note: Use System Restore only. Don't click system recovery. This will make your computer just as it was when manufactured. Well, this feature is available in select models only. This includes HP, Lenovo (I think), Dell, Toshiba (I think) and others.
