With Apple gaining more ground in the world today could this lead to more games?

Do you think that developers will make more games for the Mac since they have gained a little more attention? Or am i going to have to run Windows ONLY to play Half Life..

Nope apple can never be good for games as compared to windows. maybe 1 out of 10 games will come for mac.

I doubt Macs will ever be a viable gaming platform. The PC gaming market is in decline, these days developers are choosing to develop games for consoles instead of PCs.

Most PCs are sold with integrated graphics cards, thus decreasing the number of PCs that can play the latest PC games.

Unless Intel creates a reasonably powered integrated GPU, and people stop buying consoles, then the PC/Mac game market isn't going to stop its downward spiral.
Reply:There are more games being developed for Mac. I've noticed the game section in the Apple store go from one shelf to an entire Rack. Producers have to rewrite the entire code for Mac, so this takes time. Some manufactures have exclusive titles, like on consoles, but we will see more titles being ported over in the future. In the meantime, you will have to continue to run Windows to play Half Life :(

I'm assuming you are using bootcamp.
