Graphic card suitable for Intel庐 Desktop Board DG33FB?
The DG33FB has a PCI-E x16 expansion slot so you can install the latest graphics cards, if you are looking for a semi-cheap card I would reccomend a 9600 GT

The spec you forgot to include was that the DG33FB has:

One PCI Express x16 bus add-in card connector

That's where you'll add your new video card.

But the you already have the integrated GMA 950 which is at

least "adequate" for many (tho certainly not ALL) 3D games.

So you already HAVE a "cheap one". If you need something faster than what you already have then "cheap" is sort of hard to define. (That's a good Mother Board! I've been seriously considering buying one myself. I not in Malaysia but we are probably only one Time Zone apart.)

The first real cheap option to make 3D games playable on lower end graphic cards is to reduce your resolution setting in the game. That 20" Benq monitor's native resolution is probably pretty high. Using a lower resolution can make a dramatic difference in the "load" on your graphics card.

So try that before you shop. If I were you I'd spend a bit to double my RAM to 2GB before spending anything on a graphics card.

Try those things. If you are still not satisfied then you can't afford to let price be your biggest consideration. Start savings your money and then come back and and ask again giving information on the specific games for which you really need better 3D performance.

(Continuing off-line, lost DSL carrier, not at all unusual this time of year in this part of the world is it? They are predicting a big tropical storm in the next couple of days.)

If you revist your Question and add information of that sort we may be able to provide more useful suggestion while this is still an "Open" question.

Since you are in the tropics you will also need to consider the heat generated by a High End graphics card. If you only run your machine in an air conditioned environment you _should_ be Okay for any but the highest end cards.

(DSL is back. I'll submit this and then re-edit.)

Okay,

There has been another good answer in the meantime.

Dell sells an Asus brand nVIDA GeForce 9600 GT 512 MB DR3 PCI Experess Graphics Card in the U.S.A. for 169.99 (but they are currently out of stock). I checked the Dell Malaysia but couldn't find it there.

Asus seems to be widely available in this part of the world. If you decide to go for it, that card would probably be a good choice.
