or is it better to leave it on for the day and turn it off at night? I had a Dell flatpanel that quit working (only 2 years old). I would always turn it off when I got done using it. Sometimes it would be turned on 7 or 8 times a day. This may sound dumb, but I'm new to computers.
Is it bad to turn your monitor on and off?
I don't think it makes any difference really, although turning it off saves power so...
