Reply:From your English I don't think you're based in the UK, so I won't give you UK websites!

As for specification, it's the same question as "how long should a book be?". It really depends on your budget, but ultimately you need:

- a good sized tower that will provide you with the opportunity to transfer from air to water cooling - should you get really involved.

- The fastest processor you can afford

- quality high freqency RAM (DDR2 or 3 if the mainboard accepts).

- a ultrahigh speed SATA2 hard drive, like 'raptor'

- Graphics cards are all very different, hence the big difference in prices for what appear to be similar spec units. Check the small print AND future proof your system by getting an 'SLI' compatible motherboard and graphics card. This will allow you TWO connect to graphics cards together to really make your system fast. Games are all about graphics, so the more you have, the quicker you can burn your eyes out and become reclusive as fast as possible!

- A good seperate sound card is sometimes worthwhile, but not essential for starting out.

- As a precaution consider a 600-800w power supply unit.

- And as you're spending all this money, get a UPS system to protect it! - even a basic anti-surge!

Really, you need to sit down with Excel (spreadsheet software) and juggle some figures to see how much you can afford - THAT is what decides your machine. You can build your own PC that's fast enough for gaming for between 拢300/$600 to 拢3,000/$6,000 (not including monitor), it's up to you to decide how worthwhile it really is.

Hope that helps.

Cheers!
Reply:-At least a 2.5 GHz processor.

-Any kind of speakers. Ideally, good nice stereo ones.

-A grapics card with at least 256 MB and a high frame rate. I think NVIDIA 8 series are pretty good.

-1 GB of RAM or higher.

-DirectX 9

-A hard drive with enough space. Best if you get one with 160 GB. It's also better if you get an internal HDD instead of an external.

-Broadband internet.

-Voice chat capabilities (optional).

-A good OS. At least a Windows XP.

-DVD-ROM drive (unless, if you want to download games off of the internet)

-A sound card
