PC Defragment?

If i want to defragment my PC, it my My Documents, My Computers files deleted ?

If you defragment your PC, your documents and files will NOT be deleted so don't worry.

Defragging only rearrages the data. You will see no change in terms of files being gone/moved.

Now, Disk Cleanup is another thing entirely...it is entirely possible to "clean up" all of the stuff on your drives. Do NOT use this unless you really know what you are doing.

Defragment never deletes any file that u created. It reduces the fragmentation of a file (or all files) on a storage device by moving separated parts into a contiguous(very close) location...


Arranging in such a manner(by defragmenting) increases the speed of Computer.

Search


select For Files or Folders


Then you get a window, hear select what type of data you want (like files and folders or any )


Type what u want to search and click SEARCH


u can find the data
