Drivers trouble?

hi all basically my pc has just been repaired and my dad told me the man who fixed it said it is now a totally new pc,which means that the people who i origannily bought it of (MEDION UK) are no longer the people to deal with problems and that i will need to ring him in future ok.

So where im stuck is i go in to my device manager and the 3 driver controllers are all marked in yellow which means they aint been installed and i usually would need to download them from the medion website to install them. But on my newly repaired pc's desktop is a folder marked drivers which are different to the ones on the medion website and the ones marked in the device manager am i supposed to use these new drivers or not
Drivers trouble?
Use the medion ones.
Drivers trouble?

Reply:What has been repaired?

If nothing major has been changed the Medion drivers should still work.

If the PC has had a whole load of new innards then you will need to locate the new drivers for the items put into it.
Reply:Try using Install new hardware in control panel and when it prompts you for the driver disk point it to the drivers folder and see if it works. If it doesn't no harm done.
Reply:Try the ones on your desktop first - when you go through the Driver Wizard, ask it to search the folder on the desktop for any drivers within it. If they're correct the PC will install them, if they're not it will just say at the end that no updated drivers were found.

If the desktop ones don't work, try the website ones. Your PC knows which drivers it's looking for, so if they're wrong it just won't install them.

It's only where you want specific drivers that you'd find your self in a dilemma - eg if you have a game that require certain drivers for graphics.
Reply:i think they should work the software's configuration must be same for all pc's
Reply:hi.you can still download the drivers from Medien.just sign on to the site as normal and you will be able to download the drivers you need,And as for your new repair man well i would get rid..i am still trying to work out how a repaired pc can make it a brand new machine..As long as the mother board is the same and all hard ware is as before you will have no probs down loading every thing you need from Median support. Hope this helps.
Reply:Whenever you need drivers always log on to your computer manufacturer website for updates, - having said that the yellow exclamation mark simply means the device is not working properly or there is a conflict. this can be solved by either clicking on re-install the driver which will require you to insert the specific cd or dvd that came with your hardware or if do not have it windows can go online to check for available driver. If you look properly you will see an error code number like 1,2, or 10. Next time when you are looking for solution simply include the error code number these will give us a clue to what kind of problem you are having.Good-luck
