Reply:Dude you dont nid to Overclock.... You got a 3.06 GHZ which is good.... MOBO is good too... Video Card Excellent.... How many Watts does your PSU have??? around 300 or less??? if So you nid upgrade to 450watt or higher PSU because if you have a 300PSU or less theres something might break in your computer because your PSU could not supply enough power into every peripherals inside of your computer... Just like your Video Card.... I think that video card nids 350PSU or higher and if it nids a 6 pin power connector(Oh,Oh) it will really consumes lots of power out of your PSU which your PSU wont supply enough power for the rest of your computer peripherals.... Youre just gonna seeing your computer shut down automatically because you PSU cannot supply enough Power....... What will be the Risk if you REALLY wanted to OVERCLOCK your STUFF, IS THAT your STUFF WONT LAST LONG..... It might die whenever it wanted to...... Thats why many people will say its going to be on your own RISK..... Advice DONT OVERCLOCK IT, EXCEPT if you have a good COOLING SYSTEM like a water cooling system or A TON OF FANS INSIDE OF YOUR CASE....... If youre a beginner on doing this, my only advice to you would be DONT FREAKING DO IT, Let somebody do it for you..... YOull Suffer because if you break something thats bad..... I'm an IT PRO and i work for CISCO and i've handle millions of computer in my hands.... TO tell you I got a Q9450 Quad Core and the Stock speed on that CPU is 2.66GHZ and I OVERCLOCK IT TO 3.30GHZ which is good enough for me because you wont even nid alot of speed, FSB is the other one who gives speed on your MOBO.... I've got 4 GAMING COMPUTER INSIDE OF MY HOUSE......And every computer has 2 9800 GX2 in it running at SLI...... Its Fun...... Hope this HELPS...... DONT FREAKING DO IT UNLESS YOU HAVE A FRIEND OR RELATIVE THAT REALLY KNOWS HOW TO DO THIS.....
Reply:over clocking is not something to be taken on lightly,if you are over clocking ,the temp in youre pc goes up so you would need to increase the psu size ,and a few other things
