I have a core 2 duo processor,160 gb hdd,1 gb ram and an internal sound card!! But i am dj and need another sound card for production reasons....but whenever i am installing a second sound card my pc wont shuty down and restart continusly...wat to what are the solutions???

Short answer : "No, unless..."
Long answer: "Yes, if..."
It is possible, but not with all motherboards, or all soundcards. And certainly not with all operating systems.
It is a convoluted road to walk, and one that rarely repays the effort put in.
Can I ask, why would you want to do this? Might your need be better solved by a single better soundcard with more controllable outputs?

Reply:You only need one. What gives you some crazy idea to buy two? One sound card can support a 7.1 speaker configuration anyways.
