I'm going to have to send my Macbook in for the third time to have the screen repaired. I've heard that after three times Mac will replace the laptop; does anyone know if this is true? Any tips on how to go about getting a new laptop? My warranty will be up in the next few months and I don't want to get stuck with an unreliable computer.

Demand a replacement, they will do it, but you need to be firm, tell them simply repairing it is unacceptable.

Tell them that 3 strikes and they are out.You want a replacement or a refund.
Reply:If you bought it on credit card call your credit card company and ask about their protections or how to handle if Mac won't replace it with new one. Also don't let themplay the stall game like other companies do.
