When buying a laptop, whats better?

memory 2gb with 250 gb hard drive or memory 3gb with 160 gb hard drive?
When buying a laptop, whats better?
It depends on your needs. the 3GB ram will DEFINITELY help performance, on the other hand if you have the need for the 250GB hard drive, adding a gig of ram will be cheaper and easier than replacing the hard drive.
When buying a laptop, whats better?
Its six's either way you go. To upgrade to a 3G will cost just about the same to upgrade the hard drive to the 250G
Reply:memory with 3gb, its a faster PC, but you have to look at the processor speed we well. choose the one with the higher GHz number

Dont buy a Dell, Buy a Mac if you can, if you dont like Macs, buy a Vaio, those are top of the line right now.

Goodluck, email me with questions
Reply:I would go with the 2gb with 250gb because it will be cheaper to but the extra ram and the store where you get it from will probably charge you a lot more...
Reply:Personally I would get the 3gb of ram with the 160gb hard drive. If I needed more gbs of hard drive I would get an external hard drive, you can get some pretty good deals on ebay.

I like HP's computers, high quality %26amp; excellent customer service.
Reply:ll are you concidering the two gateway computers?

if u are the 3 gb of ram would be better because it has a 14.1 screen rather than the 15.4 you cant really tell the diffrence when useing the computer but when u travel with it you will notice it and also you will have a longer battery life with a smaller screen but it all depends o what you wanna do with it you can email me questions if you like but since its a laptop and laptops are ment to be light weight get the 3gb one 160gb is plenty and 3gb of ram will defenantly help your computers speed

email me i woould love to help
