Hard drive question...?

My neighbor has my computer and he is putting a new hard drive in it.us Hes also copying files from my old hard drive onto the new one. And the thing is, there are some files that I don't want him to see, and I was wondering if he was going to have to look through my files and move them to the new hard drive one by one, or is he probably going to move them all at once to the new drive, thanks...
Hard drive question...?
He won't have to look through them one by one persay, most likely, some people are nosey, and he just might.
Hard drive question...?
are u the owner order him to do as u like
Reply:He doesnt have to look threw it, i know when i move hardrives over, i go threw mine to see wat i wanan keep, but if it is some1 elses i just get the computers at my work (computer technition) to do it straight, copying windows and all if they like, without opening one thing, most i would do is maybe scan it with a virus scanner (Kaspersky i use).
Reply:It depends on how he does it. If he just images the partition over then he won't see the files, unless he's nosy looking around your files. If he's copying them he'd be more likely to. The mere fact that he has your computer means he and he alone will decide if he sees them. Unless he's supervised.
Reply:You don't need to look at any files you're moving just like you don't look at files when you back them up--except to make sure they actually backed up properly
Reply:He wil see them because there are so many files to go through and most of them are not supposed to be copied because they don't connect to anything.

All he can copy are files you have created, downloaded, or saved.

Documents small programs, and photos, and music; etc.

So the chances are he will look at them to be sure they are worth moving.

If there are files you don't want him to see, then you should be there when he copies them and just tell him which ones to move.
Reply:He will move them folder at a time. but I have yet to see someone repairing a comp not to dig a little sry.
