It keeps on beeping and has an empty rectangular box in the upright hand corner. what the hell is that? and why does it keep turning off?

Reply:You need to recharge your battery. If it wont hold a charge, then you need a new battery.
Reply:depending on what phone model ure using. my phone gives off warning noises (beeps 3x) periodically when it is low batt. i just switch the mode to slient n it stop beeping. or it could be ur keypad sound mode is on, so a beep whenever u press a button. or it could be ur incoming or msg is set to a beep sound. there are various possiblities. if in doubt contact ur phone vendor.
